CALLING ALL ART DESIGNERS!
Be it on a canvas, with carved materials or on a wall, make use of your strongest medium of expression to compete with artists from around the world in the 1st IEEE International Art Design Competition by The Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE) joint chapter of Antennas & Propagation Society (APS), Microwave Theory & Techniques Society (MTTS), Electromagnetic Compatibility Society (EMCS) and Circuits & Systems Society (CAS) at NUST Research Institute for Microwave & Millimetre-Wave Studies (RIMMS).

Open to undergraduate and graduate students from any part of the world, the 1st IEEE International Art Design Competition aims to promote the discipline of Radio Frequency (RF) and Microwave among aspiring students, young engineers and IEEE members.
You may submit a concept of any piece of art (painting, mural, sculpture, etc.) which depicts the area of RF and Microwave. The entries will be judged by an esteemed jury based on creativity, originality and aesthetic quality.

  US$ 150
• Second Prize
  US$ 100
• Third Prize
  US$ 50

Points to remember:
• The submission should only be in electronic form and can be of the concept design.
• It should be demonstrated that the piece of art can be produced within a budget of US$ 300.
•. The winners will be asked to design the actual piece of art for display at RIMMS; the cost of the produced piece of art will be reimbursed.
