To ensure women’s inclusion in the workforce and higher education, NUST has taken significant measures to facilitate working mothers and women pursuing higher education. A dedicated daycare facility for NUST female students and employees, along with an on-campus school for kids has been established at NUST. Currently, more than 30 children are enrolled in the daycare centre, while 200+ students are enrolled in NUST affiliated school NUST Creative Learning School (NCLS). Such adequate childcare access at an arm’s length has significantly reduced the burden of childcare on mothers specifically and parents in general.
